LOOKING FOR A REP TEAM FOR THE 2009-10 SEASON? For those players interested in playing more competitive basketball, EYBC shall have rep teams in the following age divisions: Atom (born 1999 or younger) Bantam (born 1997 or younger) Midget (born 1995 or younger) Dependent of the number of players interested, East York will field teams in other age categories. Rep tryouts begin in the week of September 21st 2009 and will run 2-3 weeks. Each week during the season, there could be 1-2 practices or game. Each month there could be one weekend tournament in the GTA area. Additionally, a team will participate in one out of town weekend tournament during the season. Depending on the age group, the season ends in late April/early May. Players chosen to join the team will be required to pay approximately an additional $300.00-$400.00 to cover various Rep basketball costs. In addition, families will be responsible for their out-of-town travel costs.
